PAINTING SKIN, HAIR AND TRANSPERANCIES
The SMC Academy proudly presents another great painting weekend with one of Polands leading female painters: Natalia Oracz.
Natalia is a multiple award painter and the owner of Owlsome Creations, and she will teach about her general approach to painting busts with a special addition of painting transperancies.
You will sketch on the bust and create the composition. Then paint skin, face, hair and finally, transperancies
Each step in the process will be shown by Natalia first, after which she will guide you through the process and provide individual support to improve your skills.

Please read the outlines of the seminar weekend carefully before you sign up. It contains all info about the details of the workshop program per day and information on what you should consider bringing along.
Included in the seminar price:
- The “Ash” bust by Neko Galaxy.
- Disposables: water/mixing cups, paper tissues etc.
- Extension cords and power strips (multiple connectors)
For the record: We have 230V here in the Netherlands and we use Euro plugs!

Paints: Please bring your own according to the outline (PDF)
Lunch: The venue offers the possibility for a lunch at appr. € 12,50 per person/per day, to be paid at the venue.
Lunch includes soup, a selection sandwiches, tea, and coffee.
A supermarket and a snackbar are at walking distance from the venue.
During the day you can obtain beverages and snacks from the bar at very reasonable prices.
Please bring:
- Paint brushes – selection of normal sizes 00 to 1 (W&N sizes)
- Selection of acrylic paints, whatever brand you usually paint with
- Pallet – dry or wet pallet may be used
- Desk lamp
- Airbrush with compresor (it is optional, wont be used more than 10%)
- Miniature holder (optional)
Payment, cancellation and refund policies:
Payment
- Payment in advance is required for all participants. Immediately upon registration you will receive an automatically generated invoice. Payment is required within 14 days of invoice date. Your seat will only be ensured after receipt of your payment.
- In case you fail to pay within the requested time frame your seat will be allocated to another attendee.
- Please note that for payments made via Paypal we add a 5% surcharge.
- In all cases we will reduce the refunded amount with any prior banking costs, should these apply.
Refund Policy and conditions
- We guarantee a full (100%) refund of the paid amount, minus banking costs when applicable, in case you have to cancel your participation before 1st March 2024
- For cancellations after 1st March 2024 we do not grant any refunds.
- Only valid cancellations will be refunded. Cancellations are considered valid when due to health issues, urgent and unforeseen family matters and similar situations..
- We also guarantee a full refund of the seminar fee is in case the seminar is cancelled on behalf of the organization or the teacher due to health issues, or urgent and unforeseen family matters.
- The organization nor mr. Szymeczko nor affiliated companies can be held responsible for a possible cancellation of the event due to external factors.
- We recommend that participants have their own travel- and cancellation insurance to cover risks and costs other than the seminar fee.
